The Eventide Instant Flanger used a single LM301 to build a 4th order
LPF. This might not be impressive from today's point of view, but
I still found it so interesting to keep it in my clone.

Sure, a 2-opamp design would be easy. But given you want to do it
with a single opamp (don't ask me why), you will find it hard to replace
that 301 with anything else.
