I am playing with the synth again and I am really fascinated by
listening to an interesting patch and seeing what it looks like on the
scope. One thing I can't seem to make sense of is the ring modulator. I
am looking at the wave form and it looks like at least two maybe more
waves superimposed. Though I would think that I should be seeing is one
wave very complex wave? This made me start thinking about chords, should
these apear on the scope as one complex wave form or as several waves?
Then I started to think what happens when you are listening to live
music versus recorded music. Live you would have many waves from many
sources. Your stereo speakers it would seem would only be able to one
very complex wave.
I hope this question makes sense, maybe I am missing something
fundemental. Thanks again.
