I don't see a big problem there.. you could check if CV is below a certain
limit with a comparator and if you're below a limit you can ground the
signal with a mosfet or another tranny.. Should do the job without clicks..
For me it's simple: The thing I want to build is basically a desk-mixer with
some additional features, and I doubt that anyone will actively use the
lower 5% of a volume fader.. Either it's set to some hearable level, or the
channel is silenced. I only need to avoid a plop sound.
For CV based things it's a different story (especially if the CV changes at
higher frequencies).
