Hello folks,
I was asked to write an article about the Roland 100m for a magazine.
Now I am looking for some background informations.
The schematics are available at machines.hyperreal.org.
Here are some questions (further comments/ideas are welcome):
Are there known changes while the production?
Has someone experience with the Phaser/CV-Delay? What is the min/max delaytime
of the audio delay?
Are there somewhere schematics of the System 700 or System 100.
Are there circuits used the first time in the System 100m which were used later
on in other Roland synths?
The system I borrowed for this article has 1/8" sockets, that do no good
connections. It looks like the contacts are to wide or they are corroded. Since
I had to promise, that I won't open the system (gngngngn....) I cannot have a
look on it. Are there known problems/solutions?
I found also that several 1/8" plugs I bought, do not fit into the sockets, but
do fit in plugs of a DR55 or the SH-101.
Is there a definition of that type of 1/8"-sockets used in the 100m?
Thanks in advance. I will try to mention all helping people in the article.
Florian
