great! I think waveshapers and modulators give a whole new world of timbre
to analog systems. 

Can you describe how this sounds like? I mean do any traditional
instruments come to your mind when listening to the static spectra?

{Some people still think that analog synthesis means
low pass filtering a saw. "Huh, you're interested in analog? Subtractive
synthesis! How boring!"

Even medium or small systems allow for something different.
And if you ask me, bandpass filtering does not sound "subtractive"
to me at all.}
