[sdiy] velocity-sensitivity for footpedals ?

Yeah it is easy.... you take the rate of change of the voltage
from the pedal... and send that out as a voltage... the hard part
is determining WHEN to sample/hold that voltage if thats what you want to 
do.

Easiest way is to choose the limit of pedal rotation (like volts = max, or 
min) and trigger the S/H.

Alternate way is to hook up a piezo sensor and sense the impact, or
two phototransistors and measure the time a mask takes to shadow both
cells.
