The MUX can handle the LED current, but I'm not sure about the ON-resistance
in that case. I would avoid anything that increases the temperature
in the MUX for precision CV multiplexing. I always used separate emitter
followers for LEDs in Sequencers.
Never really tried the easy way, but I'm sceptical.
