Hi,  Tom posted an explanation about a week ago.  

EFM has sold out of their DIY stuff, and he is reorganizing some things for 
the next batch.  smaller PCB's and full kits for a little more than the usual 
prices, and some other stuff.  He's also working on an efm book.  
Never got an ETA for the modules etc. but the impression I got was that it 
wouldn't be long.
