I have never used Stripboard Magic, but I remember when i saw the review
it looked hellish expensive for what it was.

Anyone seriously contemplating a LOT of stripboard work could do worse than
make a template, preferably larger than life, copy off a few, and laminate one.
Then use erasable whiteboard markers to try out arrangements.

This is just an idea, I ne\ver did it.
But, to cut holes easily in stripboard, i use a pop rivit drill
(these are short and double ended) in a small eletric drill.
Nothing wrong with stripboard in my opinion.
