[sdiy] Sources for regular 19" vertical rack rails (not frac-rack)

Also, check your local auction houses. There is one in Seattle ( James G.
Murphy http://www.murphyauctions.net/auctionschedule.htm ) that has been
doing a lot of dot.com closures.

I have not gone to any of these but I have gone to others and lots of times,
you can negotiate with the winning bidder for part of the "lot" that they
bought. Usually, they want just one or two items in the lot and they would
otherwise have to take the stuff they don't want - you can offer to get rid
of everything they don't want ( saving them the task of hauling it and the
cost of dump fees ) or you can offer them $20 for the rack they don't need.

Good luck!
