Right, I'd heard of doing that before...I talked to somebody once who was 
doing experiments concerning pulsed lasers, and decided to strap together a 
big cap bank and go vaporizing things with it...and I do mean a BIG cap bank, 
something that had to be rolled around on a 6 or 8 foot long cart. They 
managed to vaporize double 0 welding cable and create a 12 foot or so plasma 
ball, apparently.
