After checking out the BBD data sheet carefully
I have decided that....

BBDs still suck.  ;^)

Thanks to everyone who supported me during my
brief period of personal crisis.

(seriously.. I wanted to delay a CV and the range of
about 1.5V to 3.5 volt would not be practical without
way more electronics than I wished to use. I don't think
I could trust the stability with temperature either...)

I've got a kinder, gentler solution now using normal analog
techniques.
