It occurred to me that if you used 3 sensors facing 120 deg 
from each other, you would have a 3 phase LFO.
Or as many phases as you have sensors.
You could trade in the 'spinning plate assy' for a 
single magnet rotated by a motor.
And I guess some level shifting to get +/- voltages.
OK, still not too practical.
