Hi all,
I'm attempting to repair some damaged potentiometers using conductive paint. I need to repair the small traces on the PCBs linking the carbon tracks to the solder pins. Problem is, I find that this stuff is *very* easily scratched away after it has dried on PCB material. There's a small point where, when the pot is rotated, the metal conductor will move over this paint and I'm concerned about it eventually rubbing away. Anyone else tried this, and if so are there any particularly good brands of conductive paint? Or maybe there's something I could coat sections of the pcb material with before applying the paint? Any thoughts? :)
Regards,
Trevor.
