[sdiy] EFM RXCV-Pro & 16F84 Pic Microcontroller Question - Please help!

Hi,

The microcontroller is generally a very reliable device. But they can be wrongly programmed, or even damaged through an incorrect programming procedure.

BUT - what concerns me is you say you have been supplied a -04 device? I designed that particular firmware to be used on a -10 (10MHz) device, and will certainly not work on a 4MHz PIC. You PIC must be a 16F84-10.
