[sdiy] Acrylic coating on PCBs

Hi list,

For my TR909 clone project I've assembled two PCBs that contain all of the
drum voice circuits. The boards do not have any protective coating (i.e. the
tracks have just been plated and that's it) and I therefore wish to protect
the tracks from oxidisation etc. I have some acrylic spray coating which is
intended for protecting boards. Any thoughts as to whether or not this is
good stuff to use? Apparently this coating can start to form a yellow
appearance after a period of time, and possibly cause problems with IC
sockets and other mechanical components. I'm not really bothered about
keeping the boards working forever as I intend to get some better ones done
'sometime' :) . Just want a short term solution. Thoughts?
