[sdiy] PCBs from printouts

    Here is my suggestion, but, mine would only apply if you wanted top notch
boards and lots of them (like 10 maybe).  If you need only one disregard what I
am about to say.

    <DIY mode off>
    If you have the schematic, I would redraw the schematic with a schematic
capture program, and then lay out a new PC board.  This way, it can be sent out
to a board shop (yeah, I know, this would not exactly be D.I.Y.).
     <DIY mode on>

    Back when I used to do my own PC boards, there was some stuff made by GC
called "transfer it", or something like that.  It was supposed to be used to
extract PC board film from printed magazine pages.  I never tried it.  I am not
exactly sure how it works (or, if it did indeed work at all).

    But to actually answer your question, I am such a big wimp when it comes to
DIY PC boards these days....I would not want to tackle that one...
