DIYers in Wisconsin areaI would suggest you find a plastics surplus store in
your city (or the nearest large city). There is one on Canal St. in New York
(or at least there was when I lived there 7 years ago) where they sell
leftovers from production runs at various plastics companies. There are a
couple here in Chicago, as well. Chances are, you can find what you need at
one of these places, without having to do a production run with the expense
that goes with that. Also, it may sound kind of wanky, but the Container
Store has all sorts of little plastic containers, and if you find what you
need, ask to speak to a manager, as they have quantity discounts for most
items.
If there isn't one of those stores near you, I imagine somebody on the list
could be coerced in to finding what you need for you, given that a small toy
that made noise was in the offing, in the event. ;-)

Subject: [sdiy] Plastic case fabrication
Good afternoon, everyone (please adjust greeting to your time zone),
How would one go about commisioning someone to fabricate a number of
plastic bowl-shaped cases, or really any shape someone would want?
