(Sorry re the OT, skip this msg if ot's offend) My CD player has, on some CD's, noise. Short bursts, which get worse the longer it is turned on. It is 2nd hand, the amp+speakers are new. Some CD's are worse than others. Why could it be doing this? It is on top of the amp, with one speaker by them and the other 3m away. -alanp
