Well at 100K, amps are irrelevant. 30 volts across 100K only amounts
to 300uA worth of current. So...unless you're running tubes in your
ASM-1 and dealing with 250-500V, you won't need to worry about the
rating. You'll be better off just worrying about the size of the pot and
the material it's made out of.
Also, you mentioned "linear (or multi-turn)". I assume you meant
"linear vs. log"? I think the ASM-1 assembly guide points out what's
best to use where. As far as "single vs multi-turn", that's up to you.
For certain things such as VCO tune, I like multi-turns with nice verniered
dials, like EMS. But it's unnecessary for things like your EG controls!
And multi-turns can be a disadvantage if you want to tweak things fast.
The best thing to do is have one of each so that you can use one for fine
adjustment and the other for wild knob turning!
