Do you mean the Paia midi2cv8? Then I have, and its pants! For example
in four voice mode, if you hold a three note chord with one hand and
play another note with the other. For every new note you remove one of
the notes of the chords. Any new note will over write all others, even
if they are still being held. This essentially means you cannot use it
at all in polyphonic mode, unless you play block chords only and remove
all fingers before hitting a new chord. It is not remotely useful. I
wrote to John at Paia requesting this be looked at, but although he said
that it would be considered for the next revision, there has not been an
update for over two years.

The tuning is sloppy too, because of the use of an eight bit DAC. You
can improve things somewhat by fitting a DAC08HP from Analog Devices in
place of the supplied generic DAC08. The AD part is 9-bit accurate, even
though it is an 8-bit device.

Also the midi2cv8 software will get very confused if you have timecode
signals on your midi line. It is best to make sure any MTC and other
high volume midi data is filtered out before the midi2cv8.

My current project is removing the midi2cv8 convertor out of my dual
TB3030 and fitting another one.

My advice buy a Kenton Pro-4 or the Encore one. You will pay more but
will get a better product.
