[sdiy] Methods for Analogue Synth Mods

Thanks everyone  - Definitely makes sense.

I've got my Craig Anderton & Forrest Mims books here - I'm heading down to
Rat Shack to pick up some breadboards this afternoon and I'm off.  Just
wanted to ask how you guys went about this stuff before I dove in the
proverbial shallow end.  I'm sure I'll be re-reading your posts a couple
more times in the coming weeks.

Like the suggestions of starting small (stomp boxes), making existing synths
more modular, "get in there and make some noise (or smoke !)" - there's no
substitution for practical experience.

If anyone else has comments - I'll be listening.
