I just received the "Electroless Nickel Plating" kit from Caswell Plating.

http://www.caswellplating.com/nsindex.htm

the $59 price seems a little high considering the cost of bulk chemicals,
but I have been very impressed with their customer service and tech support.
They actually put me through to a knowledgable chemist at their bulk
supplier. She helped me iron out my process problems in 5 minutes.

Also the kit comes with an enamel pan, steel wool, and all the chemicals
neatly packaged. It does not ship with documentation, but they give you a
password to get the manual off their website in pdf format.

Do not use the steel wool on PCB material. It leaves just enough metal
behind for the nickel to form shorts between traces.

If you ever need to metal plate anything, check these guys out.
