If you really.... really wanted a cheap 303 clone and were
disappointed when you heard the 303c... Here's the plan...

I spent the 1/2 day with my 303 notes (for the real one) and
1/2 the day building a new vco/vcf/vca for the 303c (I guess
soon to be 303d).....It's better now.

I've been fooling with this thing almost as long as the Sonic6
stuff and to date have built most of it here and there even
resorting to building the entire analog part once trying to get
a decent 303 clone. So far it just hasn't been "right".

My problems have been numerous and until today mostly
unresolved...The 303 VCO had a lock-up problem. Once
out of range blamo! no VCO. It's now solved and has the
range we normally associate with the VCO4 or ASM1
oscillators, no lock up what so ever. It also hit the supply
so hard that the VCF tended to FM from the rails....Also
fixed! ....everything I wanted to fix has been resolved. So
I'm off to do the pcboard layout again this time with the
"real" 303 guts. We'll find out how it sounds in a few days.
