[sdiy] OT: sequencing over the internet

hey people

i'm too lazy to read all of what else has been said on this subject, so
i will just add what i was thinking. 
- It wouldn't be that hard to just use a telnet session to do some
internet sequencing ? ok so it could get a bit scray if the connection
was lagged, but anyway.
hmm made me think now, long distance synth controle with fiber optic
cable and varible light sources transmitting analog audio or sythn cv.
and the point of that would be ? ok so bad idea. light controlled VCOs /
VCFs?
