 Greetings,
 The Waldorf Microwave XT has a S&H filter that allows you to vary the 
clocking rate. At lower rates the sound just kind of "breaks up" due to the 
lower resolution. I haven't had much success coming up with any interesting 
sounds using this filter... I guess more experimentation is needed...  

 Now that I think of it, the XT *does* have an external audio input though!
