[sdiy] Foil Tape?

I do have the right size plug, I tried every single
plug from Radio Shack (about 20 of them), and 
this is the only one that fits.  The next size up is
way too big. The current size works fine, until 
I jiggle it a bit... it's like I just need a 1mm thick 
layer of something around it.
