Hi Kevin,
There is copper and aluminum foil with a etch resist photo layer on both
sides.
The stuff is used by model builders to make "fine" parts and in PCB making
for stencil masks for SMD.
You can you can use this stuff to create a mask to block light where it is
not wanted.

About $8.50 for 8.4 x 5.7 inch.
Another option would be to silkprint the graphics with a opaque ink.
