Depends of course on the usage of a certain module.
You need comparators, op amps, low input current op amps
etc etc etc. The newer the schematic, the more types
of ICs are used. Therefore a "Pareto" style diagram
should show no single bar, but a relatively even
distribution, given that the system is large enough.
Some time back I tryed a prefered components ASCII list.
