There was a Sanyo system too.  Two bands, each with 2:1
compression.  I can't remember the name - maybe "Super 
Dynamic".

Coincidentally, I found the Serge VCA article in Electronotes
a couple of days ago, and it suggests he used a CA3280 as
a compander around his VCAs....
