[sdiy] CV mixer overload?

Questioning on the basics continues...I'm looking at the CV mixer
section of some modules, using op amps powered by 15V, and wondering -
what happens if these circuits are fed two 10V inputs?  Does the op amp
automatically limit the summed result to its max output, at or near the
15V supply?  Or are special precautions needed / helpful to avoid
problems or damage from this situation?
