[sdiy] Ovens for oscillators?

If you go to the last pages of:
http://www.silcom.com/~patchell/smb1/smb.pdf, you will find the schematics of
the VCO's (that will hopefully be tested in just a couple of weeks now) of what
I did. J.H. also has a similar circuit on his web site, and I think Rene S. has
a different approach on his web site. I differenciate what I (and JH and RS)
did from what Paia is doing on their 9720VCO, although it is similar. The
difference is that in the circuit I did, I am using the expo converter for
measuring it's own temperature, where as in the Paia circuit, the temperature is
measured by something else (they use an OTA to do it). My experiments showed
that this methode definately worked. But, until I actually try to make some
music with the thing, I won't know for sure.
