The jack is maybe damaged then... is this some ultra rare
collectable beast... if not I'd go looking for a replacement
jack instead.
Sure... there IS metal foil... you could even peel a patch off
of circuit board !!! Cut, heat with a heat gun to soften the
adhesive... peel.
I wouldn't though... its gonna be tough...
