Etching glass...yikes...The most effective way I have heard of
etching glass is with HydroFloric acid...But this is not the kind of
thing you can pick up at the local super market. I had to use it once.
Never again. The stuff is too scary, at least to me.
The etch resist would be interesting. I was told, back in the old
days, parafin was used to create the mask. But, I think the same photo
resist that works on PC boards will stand up to HF, so, I suppose you
could do it just like you would do a PCB.
