Digikey have some pots from Panasonic, that are nearly exactly like the pots
Mackie uses...Single pots cost less than $1 each. I used a bunch of them in
an analog sequencer, and they work alright for that. I found that the pots
by themselves aren't too tough, and the shafts wiggle, unless you have them
going through a very small, well aligned hole in the panel, to add support.
I think Panasonic might be distributing some of the patrs we used to get
from Alps a while back. They have several lines of pots that look like ones
that Alps used to do, including the mid-priced (~$25) rail faders.
