Actually, there recently was a good article in IEEE Spectrum I beleive
that described what Al Gore had done in order to promote the Internet,
he helped to bring funding to buildup before it became hype. It is not
easy to know these things... it's not what shows in the normal public light.

Besides that I think we should drop the USA president thread all
together, it doesn't feel very interesting for me...
