One SDIY member actually wrote a couple of books on the 
subject of electronics for model railways. In fact, that 
other magazine you are referring to ripped off a significant 
number of my designs in the early 90s!

I've a new synth module design coming out soon (as soon as i 
get the PCBs back) that is based on a model railway circuit!

Even their so called Radio Control expert ripped off the 
front end of my speed controller and published it as his. 
This design was quite distinct, as it used a common CMOS hex 
schmitt instead of a hard to get servo controller.
