I too am very interested in getting the modification.
A rom dump and circuit diagram would be enough to rework the mod.
Probably even only the rom dump will do.
So far I understand the rom modification is needed to prevent the MT32 from
clearing the ram at startup.
The rest is just disabling the DRAM and adding a SRAM with battery backup.
