okay, finally. ;)
mofx manual, page 13
"If an effect is inserted into only one of the channels, MO-FX will
automatically default to MONO whenever the Insert/Distortion is engaged."
So, you buy one of those RTS splitters, plug it into one of the inserts on
the back of the MOFX, and plug your synth into the Return and then engage
the distortion FX block and Dist>FX, and boom, it operates in mono in>stereo
out, just like a normal fx processor would. ;)
I have been doing this using it in a send>return config on my mackie and
have had no problems..
