The CEM 3394s were the synth on a chip used by Sequential Circuits in some
of their small poly synths (my Multi-trak uses them). The are still
available at a reasonable (not surplus) prices at www.synthtech.com

I'm sure this has been asked before, but are there any other
synth-on-a-chip type chips around? I know there's the SID6581, the
TI76477, and apparently some Curtis chips, but these are all long
gone aside from surplus and salvage.
