[sdiy] what do cold solder joints look like?/csq update

I had this happen on a Kensington trackball. Made it do the
wierdest things. It was wave soldered, and there just wasn't much
solder hoding the micro-DIN to the PCB and it cracked. Again,
simply touching with an iron and a smidgen of solder fixed it.
