Is it like high harmonics from 60Hz AC line? Hum without the low freq
content, just the "zzzzz". The mic cable have to be properly shielded,
as the mic itself. Check all your connections, from the mic solders to
mixer inputs. Try the mic on another mixer. Piezos are high-impedance
devices, these kind of things may happen.
