Yep, I'm probably worrying too much. Walking across the carpet and
plugging in a mic would be nastier than the 30V pulse I measured.
And you mentioned a high pitched sound. Could that be from the
resonant frequency of the piezo itself? Mine have a pretty high Q
resonance if they aren't mounted on something.
