[sdiy] NEWBIE REQUEST; PIEZOS

This leads me to think of somehing....in making a contact-mic from a
piezo, I found myself with a nice microphone, but there is a high pitched
buzz present in the mic's signal at all times, which does not appear with
any of my "normal", store-bought mic's. Does anybody know any possible
cause/cures for this?
