I think this is the most common problem in all of Roland's old machines. I had
a 909 back in the day that had problems every few months. Cymbals not making
any sound, sequencer forgetting notes....funny stuff. Every time i fixed it by
"touching up" the ribbon cable soldering.
I now have a different 909 with a different set of problems. (It likes to
"restart" if the power isn't perfect)
now if only my 202 with the funky screen could be that simple!
