DIYing a bigger console mixer is not something I would take ligthly
on. There are many aspects to really require some thought. Just a
thing like mechanics, will it all fit all over? Longer distances helps
to confuse you on grouning etc.

Keeping things physically small has many benefits, but it requires
some planning to work out well. Regardless the size, figuring out a
major necessary remake might be a hairpulling experience.

Much of the actual electronics is not that strange, it is just alot of
it.
