Nope, afraid not. The keys are nothing but a shorting buss, each tied
to it's own oscillator circuitry. The only real pain about the PS series
is that there's no easy way to work on the boards in circuit unless you
have a way to pull the connectors to the outside. Either two expansion
cards with 22-pin connectors or ribbon cables with the same.
The cards themselves are pretty well thought out. There are two
oscillator cards which handle 6 notes in the octave each (the cards are
identical, it's just a matter of tuning them to the right range). There
are 4 cards with the EG's, filters, and VCA's, then there are the
assundry boards with the triple-resonant filter, ensemble, modulation
circuitry, etc.
