>( yes, beleive it or not this is part of a synth project I'm cooking )
Believe it or not, that's what got me into synths.
It took years before I considered electronic sounds that only talk
electrish as expressive (mainly due to an interface issue, it seems)
Nowadays I'm so much into electronic sounds, that when I hear
a police sirene and a truck in reverse gear, I get so taken away,
that I open my microwave door and switch it on, dial a phone number
I know will be occupied, and click with my mouse on places I shouldn't.
Sinus kicks ass.
OK, back to your question.
>Has anyone run across schemetics or discussions on *old* phonetic speech
>generation circuits? Too many of what I've found are based on chips that
>havent been made in years and all the newer stuff is digital and doesnt
>have the sound I want. Even hints pointing at older textbooks would be
>good.

Koenig was one of the most talented technicians of Stochhausen.
I used his VOSIMS a lot, exellent stuff.
