Keep an eye open for amateur radio swap meets (AKA "Hamfests").  Lots of
test equipment to be found on that circuit.  If you're in the states, Nuts &
Volts magazine keeps tabs on 'em.  In particular, MIT has a really good one
that runs monthly from April-October, but there are dozens of other ones all
over the country.

There is probably a newsgroup wher ethat gear changes hands, as well.  And
there's always Ebay...
