OT: [sdiy] tag annoyance

Hi,
	I'm new here and mostly lurk, but I have to say that I find this new [sdiy] tag annoying. And going over the past messages, I didn't really see a lot of posts endorsing it. My mail reader can sort these messages by finding "synth-diy" in the header, so that tag doesn't really help me at all. And now the subject line is 7 characters shorter. If everyone else likes it, I can live with it, but I prefer the non-tagged format.
